1ST CLASS BA (HONS) DEGREE IN MUSICAL THEATRE
Betty received her Degree after 3 years of study from New College Lanarkshire.
September 2016 - Present
ESTILL VOICE TRAINING LEVELS 1 & 2
Betty received her certification in Estill Voice Training levels 1 & 2 in the Autumn of 2016, and has been using these techniques in her own practise and in her teaching ever since.
2018- Present
PRIVATE SINGING TEACHER, AYRSHIRE
Betty has taught privately from her home in Ayrshire for over 3 years, transitioning to online learning during the Coronavirus Pandemic. She has taught many pupils of different ages and skill level.

CREATIVE LEARNING OFFICER, TRIPLE ACT THEATRE & ARTS
Betty taught drama and performance classes for Triple Act Theatre & Arts, during which time she directed 'A Christmas Carol', 'BRAINSTORM', the 'Coronavirus Time Capsule Project', and several online productions. 'BRAINSTORM', directed by Betty Valencia and Scott Fleming went on to perform at The Gaiety, as part of the National Festival of Youth Theatre 2019.

ACTOR/SINGER
Betty has had several performing jobs since graduating in 2017, working for some of Scotland's leading Theatres and Arts Organisations. These include Dundee Rep Theatre; Macrobert Arts Centre; Stellar Quines; Imaginate; Motherwell Theatre. She has also done voiceover work, acting for camera, and a one-off performance in Sarah Jane Quinn's 'Hard Fought Victory' for International Women's Day.
